Why payment revision needed?
Has your credit card expired? Have you received a new or updated card? There is some problem with the credit card you have set up as your default payment. Make sure you are signed in to your Amazon account. Just go into your account (on the upper right side of your Amazon page) then go to payment and take a look at which cards or bank account is set up as your default payment method. If everything looks fine, go ahead and reenter your card details again. Make sure the card or bank account you want to use is marked as your default payment method and then go to your cart and try to complete your transaction. If the payment still does not complete, you should speak to customer service for help with your account.
Go to Google and search for “Amazon customer service phone number" to get the most current number (this number changes from time to time - which is why I do not just give you a number to call). Call customer service and explain your problem and they will walk you through correcting your payment method. I had a similar issue myself once. We had a card that was compromised and we canceled it and got a replacement card because someone somehow got our card information and went on a shopping spree. We caught it pretty quickly and we were not held responsible for the fraudulent charges. It was just a hassle. We never figured how our card was compromised and it took us about a month or so of issues just like yours to get card info updated for anywhere we had it listed. Good luck to you with this frustrating issue.
